Mexican Chilli Beef with Beans and Rice
This exciting new dish from Global Kitchen, is a twist on the dish we know as chili, with its roots in Mexican border regions and the American West, particularly the State of Texas. An old legend holds that immigrants from the Canary Islands brought a recipe for chili with them when they settled San Antonio in the early 1700s. Global Kitchen use ground Irish beef, our chefs secret recipe for the sauce along with black eye peas and kidney beans and served on a bed of yellow rice.
