This week we catch up with the Siobhan and Terry Lawless who are the owners of Galway based, The Foods of Athenry.
"Based on our family farm in Galway, The Foods of Athenry specialise in the development and manufacture of a premium range of ‘free-from’ Gluten Free bakery products including crackers, cookies, snack bars; breakfast cereals and Christmas specialities. Dairy free and/or Vegan options are also catered for; with all products baked from scratch to original recipes.
In raising our own family, we firmly believe that good food promotes good health, so we took great care preparing our own food.
When this way of life turned into a business, we applied that same simple rule to all our delicious products.
And so – from dairy farm to bakery, we now export to over a dozen countries worldwide across Retail, Gifting and Foodservice channels.
With over 70 taste awards, and having extended our BRC Grade A site to 2,500 sq M in 2020, we look forward to continuing to make free-from fabulous – one day at a time.
